Sergio Mankita

When you need a problem solver, a big picture thinker and an influencer to bring order out of chaos in start-ups or corporate departments, you need to talk to Sergio Mankita. His middle name is ‘Getting Things Done’ and ‘Follow Through’. He is often referred to as the de facto ‘VP of Company Morale’ given his high energy and infectious humor. He’s an ENTJ.

Born in Mexico City and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Mankita is a creative marketer, strategist and business development professional. A bilingual, bicultural manager with 20+ years of experience managing, leading and growing brands in financial services, education, casual dining, automotive, food and healthcare. A self-described "Smarketer", he has been a marketing and business advisor and mentor to start up and scaleup entrepreneurs since 2017 assisting them better identify their target markets, improve messaging and positioning and crafting their story for investor and sales pitch decks. He has been a mentor for 75+ entrepreneur teams for the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC 2020, 2021, 2022), the Young Leaders of America Initiative (YLAI 2021), the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative (SLEI, 2021 to present) and The Jewish Entrepreneur (THE, 2022 to present) among others.

Currently, he is the Founder and Lead Strategist of M3 Group Enterprises LLC – a boutique communications, marketing, business development and account management consultancy with a variety of clients mostly in the food, education and financial services category. He currently provides business development, strategic marketing and partnership outreach support to one of the largest multicultural ad agencies in the US (Sensis), a growing financial services firm (One Park Financial), and Miami’s leading ecosystem builder for international startups (ManaTech).

A former fellow for the International Radio and Television Society (IRTS), Mr. Mankita earned his B.A. in Communication Studies magna cum laude from UCLA and his MBA from Thunderbird, the Graduate School of Global Management where he specialized in Marketing and Latin America. An avid traveler and foodie, Mr. Mankita has visited over 55 countries, volunteers for a number of non-profits and in his spare time is an aspiring stand-up comic.
