Seun Richards

Seun Richards is GEN's Ambassador for Canada, driven by a fervent commitment to nurturing innovation, fostering collaboration, and catalyzing sustainable growth within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In this pivotal role, Seun actively advances GEN's mission across the Canadian landscape.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

(1) Expand and catalyze the GEN brand by adding new relationships with leading organizations in the entrepreneurial ecosystem that might implement one or more GEN programs such as GEW, EWC, Startup Huddle. 

(2) Represent GEN in the Media by sharing information and GEN messages that help increase awareness and visibility of GEN. 

(3) Coordinate with GEN's global policy team in interacting with local and national government representatives in Canada. 

(4) Drive participation in GEN communities, events and initiatives such as the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, GEN Atlas, GEN's Speakers Bureau, mentoring program, GEN Invest and more. 

(5) Connect interested stakeholders to GEN Global staff for collaboration. 

(6) Help GEN Global ensure that organizations leading GEN programs in Canada are cooperating under the Compass and collectively representing the GEN brand as one to the local community. 

(7) Bring together GEN program leaders in Canada once a year - whether for a social event or Zoom call - to align and support each other. 

(8) Build relationships with entrepreneurs, accelerators and entrepreneurial support organization leaders, investors, government officials, corporations, and other key stakeholders from across the main geographical regions of the national ecosystem. 

(9) Build a national GEC delegation throughout the year. 

(10) Ensure GE's digital presence (webpage, GEN email, collateral deck) is up to date and represents GEN's strong work and brand.
