Olaitan Roseline Onyebuoha is an accomplished keynote speaker, entrepreneur, strategy and program professional, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, educator, mentor and nationally recognized community leader whose work spans immigration, entrepreneurship, workforce integration, education, leadership development and inclusive economic development.
Originally from Nigeria, Olaitan immigrated to Canada as an international student and completed her MBA at the University of New Brunswick, building on a strong academic foundation that includes a First Class degree in Business Administration. Her lived experience as an immigrant, student, professional in the Insurance & IT space, entrepreneur, and community leader has continued to shape her commitment to helping others navigate systems, identify opportunities and build sustainable pathways toward personal and professional growth.

She is the founder of 7th Laurel Immigration Consulting Inc. and the founding leader of the Black Business & Professional Network (BBPN), an organization she helped grow from a grassroots initiative into a platform supporting Black professionals, entrepreneurs, youth and communities through programming, partnerships, mentorship, capacity building and inclusive economic-development initiatives.

Olaitan’s work is deeply rooted in mentoring and human-capacity development. Over the years, she has supported entrepreneurs, women, youth, newcomers, international students, graduates and emerging professionals through one-on-one mentoring, group coaching, leadership development, business guidance, career navigation, immigration education and settlement support.

Her mentoring and facilitation experience includes initiatives such as the PRUDE Women’s Leadership Program, Atlantic Canada Study & Stay, newcomer-support programs, entrepreneurship and professional-development initiatives, and youth entrepreneurship curriculum development and programming such as YETAP. She has also developed and facilitated workshops, boot camps and capacity-building programs designed to help participants build confidence, identify opportunities, develop practical skills and move from ideas or challenges toward meaningful action.

Her commitment to mentorship also extends internationally. Olaitan mentors women in Nigeria and supports educational access through fundraising and sponsorship of Nano Diploma programs, helping participants identify practical entry points into the creative and digital sectors, build relevant skills and explore pathways into employment, entrepreneurship and further learning.

An accomplished keynote speaker, facilitator, and moderator, Olaitan has spoken across educational, professional, business, and community platforms on entrepreneurship, immigration, leadership, newcomer integration, career development, women’s advancement, inclusive economic development, and community capacity building. Her public-speaking experience spans more than half a decade and includes keynote addresses, webinars, career events, professional-development sessions, community roundtables, workshops, panels and business events.

Her work is distinguished by an ability to connect strategy with practical implementation. She has contributed to program design, partnership development, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, workforce development, research, training and organizational capacity building across nonprofit, business, education and newcomer-serving environments.

Olaitan has also served in advisory, governance, and volunteer leadership roles and contributed to initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, women in business, newcomer integration, Black economic development, and community advancement.
Her contributions have received significant recognition. She was named among CIBWE’s Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch in 2023 and was recognized as one of the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women in 2024. She has also received recognition for entrepreneurship, community leadership and her work supporting Black and newcomer communities.

Throughout her professional and community journey, Olaitan has remained committed to creating pathways that help people access knowledge, opportunity, mentorship, and the confidence needed to move forward. Her work reflects a consistent focus on helping individuals and communities translate potential into participation, participation into leadership, and opportunity into sustainable impact.
