working for 15+ years in the telecom, media, banking and financial industry with tech and fintech in bangladesh -
8 years as a full-stack developer and 7 years in team leadership roles
• founding team member, appointed as an independent director, decision maker, currently heading several
business, operation and technology teams in one of the oldest and largest homegrown tech and fintech
companies- ssl wireless.
• launched several innovations in telecom, corporate, banking, and fintech segments e.g. saas based
messaging, recharge, payment gateway, bill payment teller solution, card-on-file platform, virtual card issuing,
etc.
• pioneered in the building of
- the first and the biggest sms aggregation platform (launched in 2007) which processes around 1.5 billion
messages per annum
- the first and the largest payment gateway aggregation platform sslcommerz (launched in 2010) connected to
30+ payment brands processing transactions worth $300 million usd per annum
- the first saas based mobile recharge platform (launched in 2009) connected to all telcos, processing around $25
million usd per annum
- the first saas based bill payment platform (launched in 2012) processing around $1 billion usd per annum for
several utility companies
• led the company in building two data centers of its own, acquiring 2 licenses from bangladesh bank, 3 licenses
from btrc and complying with global standards such as, pci dss, iso 27001, cmmi level 3.
• currently spearheading product innovation, business expansion strategy, and technology roadmap to make the
company future-ready
