Sherif Ghali Abdulai

Sherif Ghali is a distinguished business executive and champion of youth entrepreneurship, with over a decade of experience in business development and policy advocacy. He is the founder and CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE), Ghana’s premier network for young entrepreneurs, and serves as Chairperson of the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs - Africa (CAYE Africa).

As an accomplished leader, he has established impactful ventures, including GhaTech Solutions Limited and yecSpace, and is widely recognized as Ghana’s Ambassador for Youth Entrepreneurship. His accolades include the head of state young achiever of the year award, Unique Star Achiever Award (2024), Royal Africa Young Leaders Award (2024), and National Youth Authority’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2024). He has been consistently honored among Ghana’s top young CEOs and has a legacy of achievements in both entrepreneurship and philanthropy.

Sherif is a trusted advisor to both public and private sectors, contributing to national economic and entrepreneurial strategy. His roles span key committees, such as the Ghana Innovation Agency formation team, the Ghana Business Regulatory Reform Committee, and the NEIP-World Bank Hubs Grant Committee. He is also a board member of YepAfrica and represents young entrepreneurs in high-level dialogues, including meetings with Ghana’s President and Economic Management Team.

With a background in journalism and a strong presence in public speaking, Sherif has addressed over 80 conferences globally. His commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs is evident through his efforts to fund over 200 startups and his leadership in the Ghana Startup and Innovation Bill. His work continues to shape the entrepreneurial landscape in Ghana and beyond.
