Simbarashe Chimhandamba
Co-founder and Head Grower for Urban Grown Organics, Simba has vast experience in Digital Media and Sports Marketing. Before turning to agriculture, Simba managed sponsorships and content for ABSA Springboks, The Proteas, Bafana Bafana, KFC Mini cricket, Media 24 and Coca-Cola South Africa through The Naspers Group Company Gallo Images/ Getty Images. Simba started his career as Marketing manager for Primedia Lifestyle and ended his career in Sports Marketing as Business Development Manager for TeamTALK Media, Official Data Partner to The English Premier League.Simba has been a Regional Account Manager for FIFA and worked on the 2009 Confederations Cup and 2010 FIFA World Cup respectively. It is his knowledge of the marketing and digital media space that has allowed a Brand like Urban Grown to be born. A new age farming and agro processing company that has changed the face of Urban Farming by their use of technology.
