Simeon Ogunnubi

My name is Simeon Ogunnubi Omonofa. I am currently the Lead Developer at Pengage Technologies Limited. As the lead developer and the founder of the company, my role involves product development and evangelist. I also see to the day to day running of the company and spear head strategic meetings with my team members. I became an entrepreneur because i saw the enormous potential that is available in Nigeria. In Lagos where our business operates, there is an estimate of about eighteen Million inhabitants in the city. There is a huge market opportunity that this figures brings. Basic needs like Shelter, food and clothing must be supplied. Children needs to be educated. The government alone cannot take full responsibility of all these , that is why i decided to identify a need in the market space and have found a way to create value around it. I have the passion for academic excellence in Nigeria. The various bodies responsible for conducting general examinations in Nigeria have often decried the poor performance of students who sit for these examinations that is why I created a product to help students use information technology as tool that can aid their academic performance. I am currently a recipient of the 2016 Tony Elumelu foundation entrepreneur.
