Sithembile Ndlovu

Sithembile Ndlovu is a qualified Child and Youth Care Practitioner and a young Social Entrepreneur from Durban in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is a co-founder of Sithuthukile PreSchool and Eliny’ithuba NPO in KwaNdengezi near Pinetown. She is future-oriented and passionate about developing, restoring, advocating for as well as educating children and youth at risk.Sithembile recently completed a Degree of Bachelor of Technology in Child and Youth Development at the Durban University of Technology. Previously, she volunteered at Pinetown Girls High School to provide counselling and activity programming for the learners.In 2016 Sithembile was selected as one of the top 10 young social entrepreneurs in South Africa to join Monash South Africa’s MSALEAD yearlong fellowship program. She has obtained a Civic Leadership Certificate from the Young African Leaders Initiative RLC SA and a volunteer’s certificate from the 21st International AIDS conference in 2016.Sithembile tirelessly works towards fighting new HIV infections, gender based violence, and advancing youth leadership skills by volunteering her time to a range of organisations. She is an Ambassador for Progressive Youth Africa, a member of SADC youth network, Ethekwini Youth Sector and the Chairperson of Amandla Entsha NPC. She is also an alumni for the 2016 YALI leadership Programme.
