Tatenda Manuel

I am Tatenda Manuel, a Zimbabwean social impact practitioner, innovation ecosystem builder, digital skills trainer and technology enthusiast with over seven years of experience supporting young people, entrepreneurs and communities to build sustainable livelihoods and businesses.

At Impact Hub Harare, I have contributed to the design, coordination and delivery of more than 30 programmes that have collectively reached over 3,500 individuals and supported more than 1,500 enterprises across Zimbabwe. My work cuts across entrepreneurship development, digital skills, artificial intelligence, climate action, circular economy, community engagement, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, and youth economic empowerment.

I currently contribute to the implementation and Monitoring & Evaluation of the AfriCircular Innovators Programme – Cohort 2, funded by the African Development Bank through the Africa Circular Economy Facility and implemented across Zimbabwe, Angola, Benin and São Tomé & Príncipe. I have also supported the delivery of the Digital Skills 4 Youth programme, where I have trained and mentored young people in digital skills, entrepreneurship, AI and automation while supporting initiatives that connect skills development to employment and enterprise opportunities.

My experience also includes serving as an AI Facilitator and Trainer through the World Bank's EVOKE AI Programme, mentoring young innovators through the Mercedes-Benz Fellowship, and working as a Certified Lead Coach with Street Business School, supporting entrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses, confidence and economic independence.

Beyond programme delivery, I am passionate about technology and innovation. I work as a software developer and AI practitioner, developing websites, digital tools, automations and technology solutions for businesses and organisations. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and hold certifications in web development, IT support, digital marketing, business intelligence, entrepreneurship and sustainability.

At the heart of my work is a strong belief that technology, entrepreneurship and community-driven innovation can create meaningful pathways to employment, enterprise growth and inclusive development across Africa.
