Babatunde Fanisi

Dr. Fanisi Babatunde Temitope is a distinguished Nigerian scholar, human resource professional, and development advocate born on February 26, 1986, in Jege, Kogi State. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti; a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labour Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kogi State University, Anyigba.

Currently, Dr. Fanisi serves as a Lecturer at Kogi State University, Kabba, where he also leads the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub as Acting Director. His academic and administrative engagements focus on human capital development, strategic leadership, and youth empowerment. He is also the Regional Coordinator of the Nigeria Cancer Society (YOCAC), where he promotes advocacy, stakeholder mobilization, and volunteer management.

With a diverse career spanning academia, administration, and consultancy, Dr. Fanisi has previously worked with organizations such as Juris Attorney, AXA-Mansard Insurance, the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency, and Solid Grain Financial Services. He has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly articles on human resource analytics, employee wellbeing, leadership, and industrial relations.

An Associate Member of the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Dr. Fanisi is a passionate SDG and cancer advocate, climate change champion, and mentor to emerging entrepreneurs. Widowed and blessed with two children, he continues to inspire others through his commitment to education, social development, and ethical leadership.
Dr Fanisi is also a certified member of the Certified Institute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Education and has attended trainings in various United Nations training institutions.
