Tamika Taylor

With over 15 years of experience working with public and private sector entities, Tamika L. Taylor is well known for her engaging personality as a strategic planning consultant and executive business coach. She provides career management strategies to senior executives in transition and leadership development for corporate executives seeking to further advance their careers within their current organization.

She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for The TaylorMade Executives Company which helps leaders communicate with greater impact and influence, think strategically, prioritize and delegate more effectively, manage overwhelm and essentially perform at maximum potential. The nationally recognized executive services programs are specifically tailored to enhance the unique strengths, personal qualities and leadership characteristics of aspiring and seasoned executives. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Dream Big Philly, a Philadelphia local initiative that helps aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs start and grow their dream business.

During the Obama Administration, Tamika Taylor served in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Commerce. She helped to improve operational efficiencies, mission alignment and performance management policies. Ms. Taylor has always had the passion for entrepreneurship, which lead her to an integral role within the U.S. Small Business Administration to extend the reach of President Obama's BusinessUSA Initiative – an online platform that helps entrepreneurs and businesses access federal resources to help drive the Economy.

Prior to joining Commerce, Ms. Taylor served in key staff positions within the finance industry working at firms such as Public Financial Management and Janney Montgomery Scott. She effectively helped to design marketing strategies and developed relationships within top-tier financial institutions. She also served as a Marketing and Derivative Associate helping to build, brand and implement a proprietary financial system used by state and local governments and non-profit entities.

Ms. Taylor is a Philadelphia native and attended Pennsylvania State University where she majored in Organizational Leadership. In her spare time, she volunteers as a SCORE Certified Business Mentor and provides strategic guidance for several non-profit organizations. She enjoys reading, dancing, bowling, traveling, spending time with family and empowering individuals to live their passion.
