Thandeka is a director and the leader of SekelaXabiso’s Business Development division. She has more than 11 years’ audit, consulting, general and executive management experience gained in the public and private sector. Thandeka is a qualified Chartered Accountant, CA (SA), who completed her articles at Deloitte in 2007. Her background is in assurance working with applicable accounting and auditing standards and relevant legislation gained as an Audit Manager at Deloitte as well as a Business Executive at the Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) responsible for the Western Cape Province.
Her core strengths lie in strategy and innovation supported by strong project management skills and stakeholder management skills which have been well honed through her roles as a senior innovation consultant in the Deloitte innovation and strategy consulting team, as Senior Manager in the Office of Chief Executive of Long Term Savings at old Mutual PLC and as AGSA Corporate Executive responsible for strategic projects and institutional cooperation.
