Nelsha Shillingford

Life has given me many reasons to smile one of which being a side of a twin, but the joy agriculture brings to my life has been the equivalent to love, hard to explain but to real to live without. Hi , am Nelsha Ugal Shillingford the founder and owner of Ugal Enterprises, a small business who's focus is basely on 90% agriculture. In this company we live on the motto where passion comes before business. Our key areas can be categorized on agro-processing, farming and teaching and research in the field of agriculture, environment, soil science, education and other closely related fields.

Nelsha holds degrees in both the fields of agriculture and education with 20t years of experience in both areas. She is a strong advocate for the sustainable development goals specifically zero hunger, good health and well-being and gender equality. Her aim is to ensure underprivilege , marginalized, youths both male and female, women, and single parents are not forgotten and be a strong advocate and voice for them among the crowd. The dream is to live in a world driven by her passion to be the change and empowerment in today’s world , Dominica .

Nelsha has served in many areas throughout many disciplines, clubs and organization but most importantly believes a well-rounded person should always have the drive for volunteerism as this is where ones character can really be seen and judged. Ugal enterprises is an organization which stands to bring about the new vision in a small developing state as Dominica.
