Warda Bouye

I am Warda Bouye, a passionate entrepreneur, advocate, and creative force dedicated to empowering communities and preserving Moroccan culture. I am the co-founder of Tamghart Social Enterprise, a socially conscious clothing brand that celebrates Morocco’s rich heritage through handcrafted designs inspired by Amazigh culture. Tamghart goes beyond fashion—it’s a movement to uplift women in rural areas by providing them with fair-wage job opportunities. This not only empowers these women financially but also helps prevent child marriage by ensuring their daughters can stay in school.

I am also the co-founder of Warda Tours, a travel company that brings the beauty and diversity of Morocco to life. Through authentic and immersive experiences, I connect travelers with local communities, traditions, and landscapes while supporting small businesses across the country.

In addition to my entrepreneurial ventures, I lead the Healing Through Storytelling project, which focuses on using storytelling as a powerful tool for healing and self-expression. This initiative creates safe spaces for individuals, particularly teenage girls, to share their experiences, process trauma, and find their voices. By addressing critical issues like gender-based violence and emotional well-being, the project fosters resilience and empowers participants to reclaim their narratives.

As a 2024 Community Solutions Program Fellow, I am committed to tackling pressing issues such as gender inequality, youth empowerment, and mental health advocacy. My work with organizations like Project Soar and AFCD has allowed me to inspire and guide young girls to pursue education and realize their full potential.

Through Tamghart, Warda Tours, and the Healing Through Storytelling project, I aim to celebrate Morocco’s cultural richness while fostering opportunities, resilience, and positive social change. My mission is to uplift individuals and communities by creating platforms for empowerment, creativity, and connection.
