Richard Wiafe

I am Richard Wiafe, a management consultant with a strong focus on helping SMEs grow and succeed. I work with businesses across West Africa, guiding them to improve their strategies, operations, and overall performance.

Currently, I am an SME Development Associate at GrowthAfrica, where I support small businesses in programs like the Orange Corners Programme. I help SMEs track their growth, provide one-on-one coaching, and assist them in attracting investment. I also conduct market research and organize events that connect businesses with key partners.

Before this, I worked at Deloitte West Africa, where I helped companies in different sectors create strategic plans and improve their operations. I worked on projects for organizations like the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) in Ghana, Access Bank in Gambia, and smallholder farmers in Liberia. My work involved creating strategies, conducting market research, and helping companies achieve their goals.

I graduated with First Class Honors in Resource Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from the University of Energy and Natural Resources. I also served as President of the Student’s Representative Council, leading important projects and managing a large budget.

I am passionate about entrepreneurship and believe in the power of businesses to create change. My goal is to help SMEs succeed by offering them the tools, knowledge, and support they need to grow and thrive.
