William Ontiretse Mmasekawana

William Mmasekawana is the founder of Batswana Entrepreneurs, Director of ChangeProp Solutions Pty Ltd and Chairman of Rural Development with Mmasekawana.  

Mr Mmasekawana is an entrepreneur, youth development practitioner and an rural development activist.

Through Batswana Entrepreneurs William has been able to create promote and create an entrepreneurial ecosystem through capacity buildings seminars and masterclasses. Having formed Batswana Entrepreneurs Rural Incubation Hub with 11 affiliates so far, Mr Mmasekawana has won the YALI Innovation Challenge "Best of Best Potential for Impact award for the challenge hosted in Zambia in 2024.

William Mmasekawana has also been nominated for the FAST Mastercard ideation program starting in March 2025 which will provide mentorship,business development strategies and funding to turn his ChangeProp Pyrolysis business idea onto fruition.

For his role as a rural entrepreneurship activist, William envisions a rural and disadvantaged communities entrepreneurial Botswana.
