Vaughan Weissw

I am a Co-founder & CEO at Wision Media and Drafting cc and Edu-Game Namibia. With a National Diploma in mechanical engineering, my skills in critical thinking, research, design and development allow me effectively manage and strategically plan at Wision. I am proficient in 3D modelling, product prototyping, 3D visualization and business development. My passion is to teach and share my skills with fellow entrepreneurs, helping others realize their raw potential.

In my capacity as the CEO, I undertook the development of a diverse skill set, particularly in light of our initially small team consisting of only two members. This dynamic required me to operate under considerable pressure, engaging in activities such as project execution, relationship cultivation with clients, and steering the business towards sustained profitability.

Over the past five years, I have successfully overseen projects spanning the realms of marketing and construction. This experience has honed my abilities in communication and organization, essential for effectively guiding projects to fruition. Additionally, I have undergone extensive business training and benefited from mentorship programs facilitated by reputable incubators and accelerators in both Namibia and South Africa. These opportunities have not only instilled in me a heightened sense of confidence but have also provided invaluable insights, contributing to my success in winning pitching competitions in Namibia and expanding my professional exposure to markets in South Africa and Egypt.

In my dual capacity as a Tutor and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), I am dedicated to the education of primary and high school students, particularly in the domains of creativity and technology. My role involves nurturing students' confidence in their talents and skills, fostering an environment conducive to their educational growth. Simultaneously, as a CTO, I leverage the insights gained from my prior entrepreneurial experience to continually integrate technology into the operational framework of the business. This strategic incorporation of technology not only propels the advancement of the organization but also expedites the efficacy of digital transformation initiatives. Through this multifaceted role, I contribute to both the educational development of students and the technological evolution of the business.
