Yasmeen Altoqi

I am a female entrepreneur and public health student, I launched FiDoctor.net in Yemen during the COVID-19 pandemic to address critical mental health and healthcare needs in my community. Leading this platform allowed me to offer vital psychological support and health resources, filling a substantial gap in Yemen’s healthcare system during a time of crisis. I have actively participated in prestigious international programs and competitions, showcasing FiDoctor’s impact on digital health. In 2024, I exhibited at the ESCWA-ASMEs Summit in Qatar with the Rowad Foundation and Qatar Bank and secured 2nd runner-up in the TiE Dubai program’s MENA region category. Earlier, I won 1st place nationally in Yemen at the GEN Local Competition 2023 and ranked among the top global finalists out of 250 startups. My participation in the UN-4YFN event at MWC-GSMA Spain 2021, where I strengthened my expertise in business growth and healthtech innovation. In 2023, I was recognized among the top 100 startups in the Arab region at the Women’s Forum for Economy and Society competition at HEC Paris, reinforcing my role as a female entrepreneur driving impactful solutions. Additionally, I participated in the ESCWA-UN e-commerce program, exhibiting in Jordan (2021) and Morocco (2023), expanding my knowledge of digital business models and market scalability.
