yifei wang is the founder and ceo of aibuild pty ltd, a melbourne-based innovative startup known for its expertise in web technologies, artificial intelligence (ai), virtual reality (vr) and augmented reality (ar). yifei founded aibuild pty ltd, formerly named happy hackers pty ltd, in 2017 and hired more than 20 employees in the last three years.

yifei is talented in discovering potential demands and finding innovative solutions. he has co-invented an innovation patent in the field of reconstructing three-dimensional models from a series of two-dimensional images using machine-learning algorithms in the computer vision disciplines. this patent became the key technology used in the platforms built by aibuild.

yifei joined the industrial transformation research hub in the australian research council (arc). he also received an invitation to participate in the australian government's industrial transformation research hub (arc ih150100006) and will be involved in the artificial intelligence based material design for construction (aim) scheme. the scheme involves applying novel technologies such as ai-based techniques, robotics and big data in the field of construction material as well as the waste and energy industries. yifei will be a part of the technological implementation team, which is essential to the success of the project.

yifei has contributed to victoria’s digital research capability being involved with a number of large university research projects with the university of melbourne and monash university. his research focus has been on using artificial intelligence information technology to design and develop relevant applications for real estate construction projects.
