Yolanda Lassalle

Yolanda Lassalle is a lean operations and management expert with over 35 years of professional experience working with regional and global Fortune 500 companies. She is a 2x founder, visiting lecturer, CEO, board member, mentor, wife, mother, and proud champion of females in the workplace. Yolanda received a professional degree in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) from the UPR in Mayagüez in 1989. After graduating, she was part of a group of pioneer women reaching leadership positions in the Life Sciences.

Over the span of her career, Yolanda was part of global companies including Merck, PepsiCo, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer. In 2006 Yolanda led an end-to-end business transformation of Wyeth Pharmaceutical’s 1200-person site in Puerto Rico. The transformation resulted in the manufacturing site receiving the company’s top global prize from the company’s CEO & President. Orchestrating transformations became Yolanda’s professional passion.

In 2010, she founded LaSalle Group, a business consulting firm focused on management, operations, and regulatory compliance consulting services. To expand this expertise further, she achieved Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification from Villanova University. LaSalle Group has worked in over 10 industries in 14 countries, including insurance, technology, healthcare, banking, and general manufacturing. LaSalle Academia has trained over 1,500 alumni in clients, higher education institutions, and government-funded workforce development programs.

Yolanda has been participating in startup and business accelerator programs (GVA, SBIR MBA, Bravo Family Foundation REP, and Stanford University LBAN’s Scale-Up Program) as both a participant and later as a mentor. Giving back to her community is important in Yolanda’s life. She currently serves as a Board Member of the PRUSACC. In the US, Yolanda has been an active member of the NC Bio, NC LifeSci and Women in Bio (WIB). She is the former Chair of the eMAPS Program based out of North Carolina’s Research Triangle (RTP).

Open to a challenge, in 2017 Yolanda identified the need to create more inclusive and agile workplaces where employees help drive competitiveness. At that moment she conceived Murmuratto – a workflow automation software for continuous improvement and closed innovation. The MVP for the software was launched in the Summer of 2022, helping clients save over $1MM.
