Abdul-Jabbar Zia Usman

I am a political scientist and a multidisciplinary professional with extensive experience in education, information and communication technology, business development, and project management as well as the founder of Hyperpace Farming Ventures Limited @ https://hyperpacefarmingventuresltd.com/ . I was born in Kano State, Northern Nigeria. And schooled in Kano, Edo and Kaduna states of Nigeria. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Kaduna State University, where I graduated with the second-highest grade point average in my class.

My professional background spans over a decade and includes roles such as ICT Instructor, Secretary, Personnel Manager, Project Manager, Sales Representative, and School Administrator. I've worked with organizations including J. Doff Resources, Zubby Consult Ltd., Hyperpace Consulting Services, Ochee Computer Academy, the Hult Prize Foundation to host the students entrepreneurship contest in 2020 which is a partnership between the Clinton Global Initiative, the Hult International Business School and the UN office for Partnership. Whence I served as Campus Director for Kaduna State University. I currently serve at Hyperpace Farming Ventures Ltd. And as a volunteer teacher/instructor at Jinie Schools, Barnawa, Kaduna, where I teach Social Studies, History, ICT and support ICT operations.

I've pursued continuous professional development through several national and international institutions. My credentials include certifications in data analytics, data science, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, human rights, generative AI, and personal productivity from Cisco, Microsoft, Bocconi University, the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan Atlantic University, LinkedIn Learning, HP, and the Development Bank of Nigeria amongst others.

I'm a published researcher, having authored a study on the impact of rising school fees on students in public universities in Nigeria. My creative works have earned me recognition, including a certificate for innovation in the Honda “Power of Dreams” global design competition and an award as an instructor at the USAID-sponsored Catalyst Conference’s Ed-Tech category.

A committed community development advocate, I have volunteered as an IT instructor for underprivileged youths in my community and also as a facilitator to power up electrically my community through communal efforts.
