I am the Director and shareholder of Aras Baran Chemi (ABC) Company, since Oct. 1997 to the present. ABC is based in Tehran, Iran, and started its activity to import, distribute, and supply laboratory equipment and instruments to both public and private sectors like Universities, Research centers, Petrochemical, Oil and gas Companies, Water and Waste Water, and hospitals. We provide the latest technology at competitive pricing.
To actively participate in the trade network, I became a member of Iran & Canada, Iran & Italy, Iran & Germany, and Iran & British Chamber of Commerce. I was elected as a board member in Iran and British Chamber of Commerce. My honored last position till March 2023 was chairwoman.
I was part of a group of 8 founders that established the Business Women Council at “Tehran Chamber of Commerce” in 2006. This council initiated a series of free training courses for businesswomen aiming to equip them with up-to-date knowledge and understanding of both local and international rules and regulations. The goal was to support women in not only surviving but also expanding their businesses.
In 2007, I joined the "National Association of Women Entrepreneurs" (NAWE) to become a part of the women's network and to exchange our experiences. NAWE is a non-governmental organization (NGO) actively involved in all matters related to women, entrepreneurs, and business. I had the honor of being elected in three elections as a board member for 6 years.
I am a proud member of "Nikandishan Zamin Charity," an NGO dedicated to actively facilitating access to drinking water in deprived areas of Iran. In addition to this main activity of ensuring access to clean water, we have expanded our initiatives to include building schools for students, supporting parents in starting local businesses and providing essential resources such as food, clothes, shoes, and household appliances for families in need. We have also reached out to the health department to collaborate on initiatives like free dental check-ups, consultations with female specialists, and access to psychological support for the community. Our goal is to address multiple aspects of well-being and contribute positively to the lives of those in deprived areas.
My experiences over several decades have provided me the opportunity to be selected as an advisor for women-led households, particularly those without family support and often responsible for several children. Many of these women have limited education & access to the latest technology. I assist them in promoting & selling through social media.
