Visit to Introduce Biogas Digesters

My small company in collaboration with a German company, have ordered biogas digesters for rural farmers to produce their own biogas for cooking using animal manure and vegetable wastes. A by product bio slurry is produced also that can be used by farmers for their gardens. 

This is adding value to farmers, who can improve their standard of living with a simple technology. They produce their own cooking biogas, and by product as bio slurry they add to their vegetable gardens. 

We visited one of our Model Installation sites today located few kilometres outside of Port Moresby city. The City Mission Life Skills centre, managed by City Missions, focussing on life skills and technical skills training as youth rehabilitation program for our young Papua New Guineans, who have personal challenges in life. They currently have a boarding facility accomodating over 100 students from various background and regions all over PNG. The Biogas Digester system will support the centre in producing their own biogas for cooking and bioslurry fertiliser for their gardens. We will be installing the system in the next couple of days.
