Visit to TAKEOFF Business Incubator
TAKEOFF is a technology business incubator based at the University of Malta, aimed at helping entrepreneurs create successful STEAM (science, technology, engineering, creative media and knowledge-based), start-ups. This visit shall include a presentation by the Incubator Manager Ing. Joseph Bartolo and the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Incubation Professor Russell Smith on the support and incentives they offer to start-ups, followed by a discussion with a few of the incubatees.
Registration: This event is aimed at students who are reading for the Institute's Master in Creativity and Innovation, especially those enrolled for IOT5033. Other students are welcome to attend, subject to availability of space. If you would like to attend, please email Dr Leonie Baldacchino (leonie.baldacchino@um.edu.mt) by not later than Friday 16th November 2018. Attendance is free of charge.
