Youth in Entrepreneurship Forum
This year Youth in Entrepreneurship Forum will mark another International Entrepreneurship Week held from 16 to 22 November, with the aim of helping everyone step into the world of entrepreneurship more easily or to improve their business.
We will start with the presentation of the COOPower project, implemented by Step Ri Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka. Their Ana Marković Čunko will tell us what the project is about and how young people can join the online COOPAthon which will take place at the end of January. COOPAthon is a virtual hackathon, a weekend competition during which ideas from the following areas/topics will be developed and developed: (1) a world without poverty, (2) health and well-being, (3) quality education, (4) decent work and economic growth, (5) peace, justice, and strong institutions.
Then the participants of the Youth in Entrepreneurship Forum will be able to hear what services will be offered in the Torpedo Production Park, which is planned to open early next month. Dario Zorić from the Rijeka development agency Porin will speak about PP Torpedo, which will manage the technology park of additive technologies equipped with state-of-the-art 3D technology (3D printer for metals of larger and smaller volume, 3D printer for polymers, 3D printer for sand cores, 3D scanner).
Vesna Bartolović Stančić will present the conditions and incentives for young entrepreneurs offered by the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development. CTK Rijeka lecturer Loris Rašpolić will introduce the forum participants to the possibilities of launching a website and online shop. The forum will close with a lecture on the services offered to entrepreneurs in the e-Citizens system. The lecture will be prepared by Ivan Mušanović, CTK Rijeka.
Participation in the forum is free, but it is necessary to register.
The Youth in Entrepreneurship Forum is organized with the financial support of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy, the County of Primorje-Gorski Kotar and the City of Rijeka.
