201 Talk: Katie Beal Brown of Ranch Water

Katie Beal Brown hails from West Texas where her family and friends have been drinking Ranch Water for decades. After making the cocktail for friends and explaining the folklore behind it, she decided to take what she learned from her Markets & Culture degree and apply it to founding Ranch Water, a canned version of the cocktail. She launched in April 2020 and has had tremendous success with other brands such as Topo Chico and Dos Equis launching their own similar products.
