6th Annual Women's Entrepreneur Summit

Presently, the entrepreneurial landscape in St. Joseph County reveals a disparity. According to recent data from the United States Census (July 2021), only 11.8% of businesses are owned by women in St. Joseph County, with a slightly higher rate of 12% in South Bend. St. Joseph County lags behind the national average by 32%, underscoring a gender gap in local entrepreneurship.

C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. has undertaken the mission of addressing this disbalance through the Women's Entrepreneur Summit. The imperative nature of this endeavor is further validated by the 2020 U.S. Census data for St. Joseph County

The summit is designed to dismantle the four primary barriers identified as impediments to women's business triumph:

3. business resources

4. self-confidence.
