Accessing Your Creativity through Improvisation

Everyone can be creative, yet sometimes it can feel like a challenge to find that creative spark. One way to jumpstart our imaginations is through the act of improvisation. More than just a skill actors use on stage, improvisation can be applied to all areas of our lives to develop and build on ideas. In this one hour session, we will explore the basic building blocks of improvisation such as “Yes, And” through simple games and group reflections. We’ll challenge our brains to think in divergent ways in an environment that embraces the mentality that “there are no mistakes, only opportunities.” While laughs are sure to happen, there is no expectation for participants to be funny, just imaginatively open.
