An Accidental Social Entrepreneur Speaks: The Journey There & Back

Silver City, NM –  The School of Business and the Center for Gender Equity and Social Justice are organizing a series of activities for Global Entrepreneurship Week.

This year the activities are oriented towards social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship is a relatively new field within entrepreneurship: while the ultimate goal of a typical entrepreneur is to create economic wealth, for a social entrepreneur, the priority is to fulfill an explicit sustainable social mission, therefore, social entrepreneurs design their revenue-generating strategies and operational activities with a primary goal of directly serving their mission to deliver social value.

November 15 | 5-6pm | Miller Library An Accidental Social Entrepreneur Speaks: The Journey There & Back.  A talk by Geoff Groesbeck,  Entrepreneurship Professor and former Program Director at the Legatum Center for Development & Entrepreneurship at MIT.
