Annual Student Small Biz Idea Fair powered by Danville Community College
The Student Small Business Idea Fair salutes and publicizes the American Free Enterprise System and is held annually on National Entrepreneurs Day. In the spirit of the celebration, our students created innovative and entrepreneurial business projects and ideas, second to none. Students from Pittsylvania Schools, Danville Public Schools, and Caswell County Schools (NC) were invited to participate in the virtual Idea Fair. Participants were judged on several criteria, including: originality, solving a relevant problem, improving efficiency in a current system, SWOT, importability, sustainability, research, and meeting a customer demand. The top ranking ideas were awarded prizes ranging from $50 to $400.
