A week-long program will showcase the economic relationship between Bahrain and the US.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week program begins today and will run until Thursday.
It will focus on the business and commerce relationship between Bahrain and the US, a cornerstone of which is the US-Bahrain free trade agreement, which was signed in 2006.
"We deeply value our strong economic and trade relations with Bahrain and strive to create new opportunities to expand and deepen our ties," said US Ambassador Thomas Krajeski.
"International Entrepreneurship Week offers an opportunity to focus on our shared interest in creating jobs and improving living standards in both countries.
"We look forward to a full week of events and programmes to highlight our co-operation with partners like the Industry and Commerce Ministry, Tamkeen, the Economic Development Board, and the Small and Medium Enterprises Society. We believe these events can strengthen efforts to attract more US businesses to Bahrain."
