Berkeley Visionary Lab: Startups Every Berkeleyan Should Know

Berkeley Visionary Lab: “Startups Every Berkeleyan Should Know”, the first Global Entrepreneurship Week event in Berkeley, will take place on November 14 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm at the Berkeley City College Auditorium (2050 Center St, Berkeley, CA 94704).

The evening’s three speakers, Jason Haight, President of Gig Car Share, Christelle Rohaut, Founder and CEO of Hiven, and Eugine Chung, Chief Operating Officer of Enuma, will share how their Berkeley-based companies create technologies and platforms of relevance to every Berkeley resident: Gig for its flexible car sharing service, Hiven for its home-based coworking model, and Enuma for its award-winning tools to support comprehensive child-centered early learning. The event, hosted by the Berkeley Chamber and sponsored by the Berkeley Startup Cluster and City of Berkeley Office of Economic Development, is part of the Berkeley Visionary Lab event series, a spinoff to the Berkeley Chamber’s annual Berkeley Visionary Awards ceremony. The evening promises a great opportunity to learn about novel apps that can improve your life – and an opportunity to mingle over wine and hors d’ouvres with local business leaders and elected officials, including Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin.
