The Global Entrepreneurship Network’s Small Business Grants Program provides equity-free capital to entrepreneurs worldwide, helping small businesses grow, recover, and build long-term resilience.
The Small Business Grants Program was launched through the Business for All initiative in response to the COVID-19 crisis—a pivotal moment that highlighted how vulnerable small businesses can be to systemic shocks and how critical timely, flexible capital is for entrepreneurs.
Since its launch, the Small Business Grants Program has evolved well beyond its origins. Today, it is a global, equity-free grant platform designed to help entrepreneurs build resilience, recover from disruption, and grow their businesses. Programs support founders at different stages, whether they are scaling operations, strengthening long-term stability, or rebuilding after natural disasters and other external challenges.
Through the Small Business Grants Program, the Global Entrepreneurship Network partners with corporations and foundations to design and deploy grant initiatives aligned with each partner’s unique impact goals and investment thesis. These partnerships enable funders to amplify their impact, deepen engagement with small business communities, and unlock opportunity for entrepreneurs who are often underserved by traditional capital.
To date, the Small Business Grants Program has distributed more than $29 million in equity-free capital to over 2000 small businesses globally, alongside programmatic support that helps entrepreneurs translate funding into lasting business outcomes.
