Black Broadband Summit

In lower-income communities like Cedar-Riverside, CenturyLink only offers internet service of 10 megabits per second, which isn’t really even broadband. How much longer will we continue to fall behind? We are coming together to share our stories of digital inequity. We will be creating the first black-run, black-owned internet cooperative in the Twin Cities. What would an internet service look like that is for the people, by the people? The Summit will explore how the internet is supposed to work and the effects digital inequity has in Black communities. This event is open to all who support digital equity in Black & Brown twin cities neighborhoods. Spots are limited, so get your tickets today!
