In Celebration of Veteran Entrepreneurship, Building a Better Bankable Business Borrower

The Missouri SBDC at Missouri Southern State University and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) along with VetBiz and Missouri Apex Accelerators will host a virtual workshop for veteran entrepreneurs and veteran owned businesses that will focus on facilitating access to capital for existing or new small business

Presenters include:
Krishin Thadani – Small Business Administration, Krishin Thadani, OMS, SBA will share his commercial lending knowledge and experience with small business owners and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining the SBA, Krishin Thadani was a commercial lender with a community bank. In his current role with the SBA, Krishin maintains relationships with local lending institutions by providing technical information and expertise to commercial lenders.

Mitchell Fitzpatrick - VetBiz, Mitch, a former Army noncommissioned officer from Kansas City, joined VetBiz (the Veterans Business Outreach Center covering Missouri, Kansas, and Southern Illinois) in 2020. He’s dedicated to getting veteran and military spouse business owners to the right resource at the right time, and eager to make a positive impact on the community for years to come.

Allen Waldo - APEX Accelerators, Allen has worked with the Missouri APEX/PTAC since 2014. He offers counseling in government contracting for mainly small businesses. He can assist your veteran owned business in registering to do business with the federal government and the State of Missouri. He also offers expertise in assisting businesses in applying for various socio-economic certifications including for veteran owned businesses. As the MO APEX is taxpayer funded, all of their services are at no cost for their clients.
