On November 20, 2020, EcoKMC successfully hosted the third Startup Huddle virtually in Suzhou, China. Two entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of investors and industry experts. Four local investors and several experts from industry were invited to participate. Each entrepreneur delivered a 15-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute question and answer session with the panelists. Meet the entrepreneurs and their companies below.
Einsteck Inc. is a startup that provides a Robotic Testing System using AI and big data. Hui Yaoxuan, CEO and co-founder of Einsteck Inc., graduated from Stanford University in Economics and studied at Gymnasium am Rotenbuhl and Universität des Saarlandes in Germany. She presented the AI-based Robotic Autonomous and Automotive Safety Testing System and High Precision MEMS Tire Pressure Sensor.
This AI and big data-based Robotic Testing System includes a brake pedal robot, steering robot, and intelligent high-speed mobile platform (3rd generation) and also provides testing services and solutions. The self-developed high-precision MEMS Micro tire pressure sensor can reach a measurement accuracy of 0.01 bar which is an order of magnitude compared with the traditional 0.1 bar tire pressure sensor.
Dr. Simon Tian, CEO of EPIM Network, aims to combine blockchain technologies (without crypto-currencies) and data sciences (especially Bayesian statistics) to create and develop a family of revolutionary services and products and bring a new type of decentralized social values into the world. The first product in this family is Chron. It is a blockchain-based flight delay compensation service. Customers, who take the flights they purchased, will be reimbursed for the proportional to the delay time."
Before founding EPIM Network, Dr. Tian worked in key roles in the Data Sciences Department in a $1B proprietary hedge fund and AIG-Validus. Dr. Tian holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California, Irvine and a B.E. in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University.
