CO.STARTERS Launches 2018 Holiday Gift Guide Featuring Giftable Goods from Creative Starters across the globe

The launch of CO.STARTERS 2018 Holiday Gift Guide coincides with Global Entrepreneurship week and features female and minority founders.

The CO.STARTERS Holiday Gift Guide offers about 80 products made by small businesses around the U.S., plus a few from overseas. What these starters have in common is that they took root in places where they have a strong community of support through CO.STARTERS and its member organizations. Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, CO.STARTERS uses programs and tools to support grassroots leaders in growing and strengthening their local entrepreneurial ecosystems.

The Gift Guide includes products ranging from a build-it-yourself robot kit to a lifesaving CPR tool, from soaps and socks to cards and coffee, from African-made crafts to shoes made by homeless people in New Orleans, from a clingless shower curtain liner to jewelry, pottery and hats, and much more. Most are made by companies led by female founders. All proceeds go directly to these small local businesses.

The Gift Guide is an example of how CO.STARTERS is expanding support for starters and communities by connecting local efforts to national networks. This year’s Gift Guide is larger than previous editions and marks the first time CO.STARTERS is promoting the Gift Guide nationally and providing a marketing kit for members to promote the Gift Guide to their networks.
