Speakers:

1- Ricky Venters Program Manager, FastForward
Ricky Venters severed as the Program Manager of FastForward and oversaw the Mentors-in-Residence program and the National Science Foundation I-Corps Program at Johns Hopkins, as well as other educational programming and human capital management initiatives. Prior to joining FastForward, Ricky was the program manager for Johns Hopkins’ HopkinsLocal program, partnering with businesses to support Baltimore residents and women- or minority-owned businesses. Venters worked with engineering, construction, and law firms, among other businesses, to develop a course on business development for young companies. Ricky serves as a small business coach for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Baltimore, assisting entrepreneurs on investor pitch presentations. Ricky graduated with B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Stony Brook University and Manhattan College respectively and is a licensed engineer in the State of Maryland.

He has worked extensively with authorities to track and analyze terrorist groups. Mr. Lefkowitz also served as a consultant to the FBI’s senior management team and worked for a top-tier, global investment bank. Mr. Lefkowitz holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA from Williams College.
