Discovering and Leveraging your Entrepreneurial Style with Dr. Rob Mathews

This workshop will explore the Entrepreneurial Leadership Instrument (ELI). This assessment is a four-quadrant tool that measures how one thinks about and how one acts on opportunity. Participants will learn about the tool and its origin (the Basadur Profile) in this highly interactive session. We will briefly discuss the research, data, use, and practice behind this emerging assessment tool, as well as compare it to other assessments. Participants will receive a free code to take the online assessment. During the session participants will further explore and discuss their style preferences. The four styles include artist, scientist, builder, and evangelist. This tool can help entrepreneurs understand their tendencies and better navigate relationships with others who approach entrepreneurial endeavors differently than them. The assessment can also help inform the formation of diverse leadership and innovation teams.
