"Everybody Can" Competition is empowering people of all abilities for the second year in a row!

GEN Egypt announced the new edition of its initiative to support people of all abilities: “Everybody Can” Competition. The competition aims to provide equal opportunities for everyone who takes part.

After the major success of round one, "Everybody Can" competition is returning for the second year in a row to empower people of all abilities. The competition started to accept applications since last March. The inclusive competition is calling for entrepreneurs with disabilities who have their ideas/startups in any field as well as entrepreneurs who have ideas/startups that serve people with disabilities.

The competition chose simple yet very specific criteria to asses ideas/startups according to. 

"Everybody Can" Criteria: 

  • Inclusion: The competition accepts ideas/startups of people with disabilities and ideas/ startups of entrepreneurs that serve people with disabilities or solve their challenges.
  • Sustainability: The competition targets ideas/startups that will continue running in the long term
  • Social Impact: The competition accepts ideas/startups that help our community be a better place and have a social impact

The "Everybody Can" competition is organized by GEN Egypt in collaboration with the US Embassy in Cairo. The competition still accepts applications until 11:59 pm, Saturday night. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply with ideas/startups that meet the criteria for the chance of winning financial prizes up to 100,000 Egyptian pounds in addition to mentorship programs.
