GEN Egypt kicked off Global Entrepreneurship Week in Egypt. Events included large conferences, a symposium, and a series of "GEW Talks."

GEN Egypt kicked off Global Entrepreneurship Week in Egypt with various activities organized directly or through its partners. The week began with an online Opening Ceremony attended by more than 4,000 participants.

Other key events included the Women Entrepreneurship Network Conference held at the Greek Campus. The U.S. Embassy hosted the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a major conference conducted in partnership with the American UniversityGEW Talks in Cairo that took place at the AUC Tahrir Campus in Cairo. U.S. Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg and American University in Cairo President Dr. Ahmed Dallal opened the conference, which included presentations from industry leaders, investors, and young entrepreneurs.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organized the "GERMINATE Symposium," a German-MENA Industry and Technology Exchange that took place at Mansoura University. More than 600 people participated in the event.

GEN Egypt, the official affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network, is organizing an online series of “GEW Talks “ hosted by Ahmed Osman, GEN Egypt's Managing Director.  The 15 episode live series features key leaders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Egypt and in the Middle East.

GEW Egypt will continue until December 16, 2024.
