Emprende Talk: personal and professional transformation. Deusto Entrepreneuship Week 2023

As part of the Deusto Entrepreneurship Week and within the various events included in the Global Entrepreneurship Week, from theInnovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of the University of Deusto We want to invite you to an Emprende Talk about personal and professional transformation.

In this session we will have the entrepreneur Elena García Council of‘My Social Roots', specialized in international trade and who dedicates her time and energy to doing something for others. Elena combines her work with her project My Spc, which collaborates with the Integrando de Sestao Foundation. She allocates all the profits from her prints to finance the training, together with Lanbide, of migrant women and women at risk of exclusion so that they can find a job and recover their lives.

Through her prints, provided by photographers who want to collaborate with her project, Elena reflects the reality of migrant women, transmitting their pain, strength and hope.

The story of Elena García Concejo and her 'My Social Roots' project illustrates how an initiative focused on international trade can be a powerful catalyst for personal and professional transformation, especially when combined with a meaningful social purpose.
