GEN in Spain

GEN began operating in Spain when it partnered with Autoocupacio, a business development organization, to conduct the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign. GEW is supported by 50 stakeholders that support entrepreneurs and help highlight powerful voices and new partner organizations that promote, encourage and support the development of entrepreneurs. Each edition has been more successful than the previous one. GEN translates and customizes global programs – such as Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), GEW and Startup Huddle in Spain. With 18 autonomous regions, communities and four levels of public administration in Spain, there are more than 4,000 entrepreneurial support organizations spread across the country. GEN is aiming to have at least one representative in each region in Spain.
