Entrepreneur Day

"What's the day in the life of an entrepreneur like?"

"Why did you choose entrepreneurship as your career path?"

"If you could do anything different on your path to being a successful entrepreneur, what would you do?"

"Do you consider yourself more of a technical expert or a business expert?"

"How is artificial intelligence (AI) disrupting your business?"

Entrepreneurs visit University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) and regional high school classrooms to answer these questions and more today!

Teachers submit a speaker request to the UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and then CIE matches entrepreneurs with the teachers. Entrepreneurs arrive on this day - Entrepreneur Day - to share their entrepreneurial passion with students. 1,000 students had an opportunity to meet entrepreneurs in 2022 and our plans are to expand this year's program!
