Entrepreneurship Kickoff Event

This is the kickoff event for the Karen A. Stout Accelerator Fund competition and Montgomery County Entrepreneur of the Year award. At this event attendees will:

· meet the entrepreneurs from previous Accelerator Fund recipient companies

· learn how to apply for funding in this year’s cycle

· discover how you can become involved with the College’s Start-up boot camp, co-sponsored by Drexel University’s Close School of Entrepreneurship

· be among the first to hear about the new Montgomery County Entrepreneur of the Year award

Our main attraction is our keynote which will be given by venture capitalist and entrepreneur, Wayne Kimmel. Wayne is the Managing Partner of Seventy-Six Capital, which has successfully invested in over forty technology and healthcare companies (including Grub Hub and Nutrisystem) and will be sharing wisdom from his new book, Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel.

The event will be a part of Montgomery County Community College’s celebration of Global Entrepreneurship week and be held in the Parkhouse Hall Atrium on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 1:30-3:00. Light refreshments will be served and there will be time for networking and to have a book signed by Mr. Kimmel afterwards.
