Fireside Chat: The Startup Scene in Gaza

Building a company is tough enough in Washington DC, but doing it with unreliable electricity and conflict at your door? That’s a totally different ballgame. Join us for a relaxed fireside chat with Issam Zinati, Backend Developer at Hatch Apps and Director of Acceleration and Investment at the Gaza-based UCAS Technology Incubator. During his time with UCASTI, he had the opportunity to work with dozens of Palestinian startups, and experienced first-hand the opportunities and challenges that the region presents. Hear him discuss the differences in his experiences with startups there and here.
