Funding for Small Business

The Nashville Business Incubation Center (NBIC) is hosting a Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) event, a multi-day virtual event centered on supporting and driving innovation to local businesses in the greater Nashville area. This is the sixth year of GEW and we are thrilled Amazon has joined as its 2021 Presenting Sponsor. “Small and medium businesses from every state sell in Amazon’s store and when they thrive, our customers benefit from the products and services they offer,” said Courtney Ross, Amazon’s senior manager of external affairs in Nashville. “Over the past year and a half, we’ve seen countless Nashville residents turn to entrepreneurship to replace lost income, making the support and guidance that the NBIC provides more critical than ever.”

From November 9-11, GEW will celebrate small business innovation, creativity, and opportunity, while being dedicated to those who create jobs, develop products and services, and drive economic development.

GEW’s theme this year will be Digital Reboot: From Pandemic to Profit, with the mission of equipping entrepreneurs with resources and support to help move their business forward into the digital space while conquering the challenges brought on by the pandemic and navigating the new normal.
