GEC+: HISTORY

Thanks in part to the communities around the world that celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week each November, a global network has emerged, connecting people across borders to unleash their ideas and transform innovation into reality—growing economies and expanding human welfare. Several cities have hosted GEC+ events, modeled after the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, that facilitate deep-dive discussions and regional action plans on topics such as: blockchain; digital economy; early-stage investment; entrepreneurial mindset; Internet of Things; regulatory policies; and soft landing programs to attract startups.
