Public-Private Strategies to Boost Entrepreneurial Capital

The Index of Dynamic Entrepreneurship, published by GEN and Prodem, showed that record investment amounts in 2021 were followed by a reversal in 2022, especially in the second half of the year. Preliminary data for the first half of 2023 shows that the downward trend continues. 
 
Similarly, the Latin American Venture Report 2023 reveals that Latin America witnessed the lowest volume of venture capital transactions in the last five years. Although there are public policies that promote venture capital in the region, this is a space of opportunity.
 
How can public-private strategies promote venture capital in Latin American ecosystems? Join us to explore such strategies to promote venture capital and improve the conditions for entrepreneurship across the region.

• Review a theoretical framework and analysis of the Latin American context. 
• Discuss the design and implementation of public policies and public-private strategies.
• Learn about cases of successful public-private strategies to increase the pool of financial capital.
