The European Business Angel Network (EBAN) are organising their 2016 Annual Congress on May 25-27 in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal. There will be a large and proud African delegation attending the Congress. African Business Angels Network (ABAN) President - H. Tomi Davies will be joined by ABAN co-founders Christopher Campbell & Valere Twagirayezu, along with some of the foremost thought-leaders surrounding early stage investing and entrepreneurship.
Highlights will include ABAN president H. Tomi Davies speaking about the changing African narrative and how early stage investing is helping to shape the future of the continent; and the official launch of the Rising Tide Africa initiative - bringing together 99 African female angel investors. We are also looking forward to promoting two game-changing African entrepreneurs - Femi Akinde from Slimtrader and Corbyn Munnik from Sliide. These two entrepreneurs look to demonstrate the best of what African startups have to offer.
